How to Register
TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION
To request information about enrolling your child in the Goleta School of Ballet, openings in current class or what level would be best, please fill out our general inquiry form and tell us more about the class you are seeking.
Fall 2024 classes begin in September, however we pre-register for Fall 2024 starting in May 2024.
AGE REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Level placement for Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary, Primary A, Primary B and Level 1 is based on a student's age and grade level as of 9/1/2024. Classes are designed as year long classes and students should remain in their level all year regardless of a birthday after September 1st.
Pre-Ballet (3 years old by 9/1/2024)
Pre-Primary (4 years old by 9/1/2024)
Primary A (Kindergarten)
Primary B (1st Grade)
Level 1 (2nd Grade)
Level 2 (by placement class if not current student)
LEVEL PLACEMENT FOR LEVEL 2 - Pre-Professional Division: Students wishing to enroll in Level 2 - PPDD should indicate previous ballet experience and contact the school for evaluation. A placement class or evaluation period is required before proper placement can be determined.
NO CONTRACTS
There is no contract for classes, you may withdraw at any time with notice in the prior month.
TRIAL CLASS
For new students that wish to take a trial class prior to enrollment, please contact the school to arrange a time. A trial class may not be possible if a class is already full. A trial class does not guarentee there will be space at the time of enrollment.
REGISTRATION FEE
A $30 yearly registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.
HOW TO REGISTER
HOW TO REGISTER as a New Student: New Students are able to register for the school starting May 15, 2024 on an ongoing basis through the school year where space is available.
HOW TO REGISTER as a Returning Student: Returning Students are given a placement letter at the end of the school year and should enroll in the specified level before the pre-registration deadline.
